Lets see...
Our apartment is practically furnished and ready to go, with exception of a few details.
I started work, I love it! My official training started today its 4 weeks, my trainer if great, I really like him.
The weather has been interesting, I think today has been the coldest day yet, it was just really windy "with gusts of air of 30-40mph" the walk from the train to the building was not fun. This is pretty ironic considering it was technically one of the "warmest" days since we have been here, in the upper 30's. This wind chill is what makes it soo cold!!!
I have had some interesting experiences on the subway. Including a guy who was a mayor divo and changed his shirt 4-5 times while dancing and looking at himself in the window. I have had some solo singers and a 4 part quartet groups, David got a whole mariachi band! Some people do magic, some dancing, some just sleep. At the stations I have seen full jazz ensables, african drums, trashcan drumming, mime musicals, and some gospel singers.
We found Atomic Wings on 2nd and 60th, LOVE it ! best hot wings and its a bar. They are also close to work and they deliver. We had a few beer pitchers there
Last Sunday was great, well... for the most part. We woke up got ready and headed to the Museum of Natural History. We took the F train and transfered to the D train that was suppose to stop right at the museum... well it didn't it skipped 7 stops! we ended up at harlem on 125th st. we then too the C train that would take us back down to the stop and it decided to skip 7 stops too! we were now back to square one. David and I decide to give it one more try and take the A train that also had a stop at the museum... well go figure we ended up at 125th street again. We, at this point, took a cab and made it to the museum!
It as a lot of fun!
We have had dinner at home most nights, thanks to david most nights... we have had pasta, chicken, tacos, burgers, etc... yummy yummy! we even have had a formal dinner on the floor watching TV in our living room!
That's it for now!
